Even during the cocktail hour before the doors open into the main ballroom, vendors and venue staff are finalizing details ready for guests to enjoy and experience a wonderful reception evening! When mapping out your initial reception ballroom floor plan, you should start with the dance floor which may or may not be an important large area to consider first. The newlyweds should be front-and-center (or at least visible by everyone at the same time) and have the sweetheart table (or head table) confirmed after the dance floor placement is considered. Knowing where your VIPs will be seated and where the bar area(s) are decided next. The next area to plan next is where chairs and tables going to be (or if they be in place when the setup team arrives, in which at least another 30 minutes is needed, depending on your total guest size). More considerations are needed such as table settings, centerpieces, favors, place cards, and many more. This is why we believe a wedding planner, coordinator, or consultant is needed in addition to your venue planner. You can enjoy your freedom from stress with a planner to also act as “director” before, during and even after YOUR BIG DAY! We at #showbride wish the best for all newlyweds as they plan, whether it’s later this year or even next year! Best regards! #HiltonTheMain#WeddingReception #WeddingPlanner
