Wedding Central was created in 2005 and
was originally established as a home based business selling wedding
supplies on Ebay. Wedding Central was then moved into a small space in
the Jefferson Flea Market selling wedding supplies, gowns, and
accessories. A couple months later they took out a wall and expanded
that location. Approximately nine months later, again decided they
needed to expand. Wedding Central then moved to their 12480C Warwick
Blvd. in Newport News. In September of 2009 Wedding Central changed its’
name to Event Central LLC simply because they did then and do now…more
than just weddings.
Now once again, they have moved to a
larger location. From 1400 square feet to 20,000 square feet. Quite a
leap. Their new location is an event mall, which includes banquet
facilities, two rental display showrooms, a flower department, two
on-site coordinator/planners, a videographer, photographer, dj, licensed
massage therapist, caterer, and band.
Their goal is to make Event Central LLC
the ultimate in one-stop shopping for any event. Their dream for Event
Central just keeps getting bigger and better. Join their mailing list to
