At the Winter Engagement Bridal Expo on January 20, 2019 at the Chesapeake Conference Center, an unfortunate incident occurred that we would like you to help us not only get the word out everywhere, but to also bring a joyful ending to the beginning of an engaged couples life to come! “My daughter Abby got engaged to her boyfriend of seven years and the love of her life, David, three weeks ago. This young couple in their twenties is perfect for each other and have a spirit of kindness, caring, and fun that is contagious, and they are loved by so many. Abby and I went to a bridal show at the Chesapeake Conference Center on Sunday, 1/20/2019 to begin the process of finding photographers, caterers, etc. and in general, to celebrate the fact that she was engaged to her best friend. She was so excited to go to her very first bridal show! At some point during our visit, her engagement ring, that David had custom made for her and had saved his money for many months to afford, slipped off her finger, and she lost it. It was a little big on her and the weather was cold. She noticed she no longer was wearing the ring at the end of the show. Everyone there tried to help us to find the lost ring, from the administrators of the event, to vendors, to anyone from the public that was still there. We crawled on our hands and knees around the room and under all the tables and chairs, and we still couldn’t find it. We even checked the bathroom, the lobby, the parking lot, but to no avail. She emptied out her pockets and purse and nothing was found. It was lost. We even returned on Monday to scour the room again and nothing. Please help us to find her beautiful engagement ring. It has to be out there somewhere. We are offering a reward of $200 for anyone that finds this ring. Sadly they lost Marianne in 2006, but her legacy lives on. The company is now run by her daughter, Katie with the help of her granddaughter, Kelly. They carry an extensive line of bed and bath linen as well as beach and baby equipment.
